#83

The sunday sun rays kissed her auburn hair
She dressed up dainty in her usual flair.
Sprinted down the street
In the summer heat
Her thoughts in a mess.
The girl in a polka dot dress.

The trees sang a song
When she pranced along.
And they shrugged when she missed a beat.
The flowers ogled at her happy feet.
Her thoughts in a mess.
The girl in a polka dot dress.

The clouds plunged a little
Rain played a fiddle
The drops finally fell like stars
Washing away some fuzzy scars
Her thoughts in a mess.
The girl in a polka dot dress.

Hands outstretched
Rain drenched
Feeling blessed
The " eccentric"girl
In a polka dot dress.

she smiled and jumped high
embracing the lightning sky
her thought now afresh
the girl in a polka dot dress
