#60

He was all decked up.
His Big day had finally arrived
Looked at his reflection: Haughty and Proud.
Outside the dhol blared noisy and loud.
Adjusting his pagdi, he smirked to himself.
This wedding had brought in tonnes of wealth.
The brides father did plead.
Alas! Limitless was the groom's greed.
He knew he was running late.
The bride has to wait
Happily he scoffed
as he turned the bathroom door knob.
Anger, fear, frustration began to rise.
Sooner he did realize.

His bride had locked him up.

For poetry this is good but in real life one should have a bit more cruelty for such gifts to humanity. It also makes the news if you are a bit more cruel :D.

Indeed Natasha! Infact far more than locking in a bathroom, they deserve to be locked up else where :p
