transition......

the soft..the tiny...the supple..innocent hands..
growing into the "coarse", the robust, responsible ones...

the once sturdy,independent ,riteous shoulder,
turning into a helpless,wobbly,brittle one,ready to surrender...

inevitable is the advent of dependence..
inevitable is the fading of innocence..

the changing of seasons..fall, rain, sun and snow..
the lush green leaves drying to a pale yellow..
the torrents of raindrops when the sun's gone..
the snow cover vanishes when spring's reborn...

inevitable is the burning summer heat...
inevitable is the falling of leaves...

slowly gradually someone walks in your life..
holding your hand n leadin you starry-eyed..
understnding your unspoken words..reading your mind..
from a friend to someone special...a caring bond that binds..

inevitable is the fluttering of heart..
inevitable is the fear of it ending after its starts..

the resounding laughter of the angel of the house..
the tantrum thrower is off with her spouse..
the chilling silence when she's not around...
what echoes in your mind- her voices ..her sounds...

inevitable is the going of your princess..
inevitable is the flow of tears ,you suppress..

without a change in its course even water becomes stagnant..
however it may be..its just "change" that is constant...

the thing that keeps us going- what after the intermission?
imagine what life would be without "timely transition"???

So, finally u wrote sumthin about the ineviatble change. rightly said. life will be real boring without these transitions. they are good if we enjoy the entire process.

i especially liked -

"the changing of seasons..fall, rain, sun and snow..
the lush green leaves drying to a pale yellow..
the torrents of raindrops when the sun's gone..
the snow cover vanishes when spring's reborn..."

u hav, in these lines very interestingly written abt the negetive changes first n den just at the end of para u induced hope (the snow cover vanishes when spring's reborn...).. n the effect is rejuvanating !

gr8 job!

how wonderfully you captured the transition of events occurring right from mother nature to person's (child's) life...perfect and universal conclusion that there is no progress w/o transition...but dont you think things change for only good and also its not necessary for all inevitable's to always come true??

kip such things flowing divsi...amazing piece of art as usual...:):):)

Dearest Divsi,
You have a talent for saying things so beautifully.I am really awed by the following lines - "
without a change in its course even water becomes stagnant..
however it may be..its just "change" that is constant...

the thing that keeps us going- what after the intermission?
imagine what life would be without "timely transition"???"
Your flawless choice of picture and perfect rhyme deserves many many applauds!!!
