so many sounds..some melody..some noises..some din...some pandemonium..some subtle some heaven..and just TWO ears!:(
there are certain sounds which light up my face and make it beam:) [ i m sure u ll have yr own list too:D]
coz even chaos is melody at times...and at times...even a soft tune can wreck havoc in your heart:)
# the kree-kree of dry leaves when you walk over them....
# the squeaking of a toddler's brand new shoes when she plods away...
# the sounds of waves breaking at the shore at night...
# the echoes in a cave...so sinister yet making u awe..
# the simultaneous ringing of bells, drums, conches amidst claps of devotees in the temple's evening aarti..
# break time in skool[ jog back yr memory;p] you sit alone[ yr beloved bench partner is absent] after eating dabba you rest your head on the bench ..put your ear on its surface ..close your eyes and absorb all the noises around..children playing, yelling,giggling,shrieking...till the triiiinnnnggg of the school bell and the hush-hush wen rashmi teacher arrives...
years later - your last day of college..u put your ear back to the bench to absorb all the noises around and preserve it for years to come....
# peek time at an udipi hotel..and the plethora of sounds...chai chai..kaapi..sada 2..masala 3..rava..rasam..pessarattu...
injected with the banging of plates..spoons..glasses...and you trying to converse over all this:)
# ever had a walk in da woods..? esp on a windy day? when the leaves rustle against each other and you feel they are whistling...[woo woooo]
dont believe me????
[ okay..mebbe they just wanna impress me;) hehe]
#the creaking of old, wooden ,termite eaten stairs leading to my alma matter's chapel..[i love the sound so much even though i shudder to think wat ll happen if they collapse while i catwalk?:O]
#the beats of dhol..so tempting..making me tap my feet whereva i m...:p
# the shrill of the cooker..containin mum's chole..wen ur stomach rumbles of hunger...
# the shabads[hymns] of the golden temple at dawn..echoing all ova the complex..serenity n bliss!
# you're excited! you're delighted! u re feeling u' ve run miles..n u re breathless!
your heart's in a frenzy! its beating madly...loudly n madly! and u can actually hear it beat...heaven na?
and the list goes on...next time you hear a sound that pleases your ears..capture it right there..entrap it in yr memory...and keep it real close...you neva know when it'll be a remedy to your mood swings or dull patches..and will get back the rhythm in your life:)

You write well. But more than that I feel you have done well to find an outlet to your writing skills. I can see you really enjoying your blog.. your feelings about what goes around you in this world really flow through the posts. :-) Love it!
sound of water kept for making tea, boiling vigorously, in mountains...
Sound of my bike humming...when I ride it...
Sound of water, at Gangotri...
tick-tick of wrist watch at midnight...(i can hear it)
sobbing of your mother in other room...when u are about to go to other city, next day for studies...
...aah...so many sounds. Do many different emotions.
Loved ur post.....Keep writing often...
Btw, Read this...
I had to go for an important meeting. Got late, opening up eyes in moening. Everything else was taking time, more than usual. Tea on the stove to boil, dress to get ironed up, bread to get toasted. Everything seemed to take an eternity. Somehow managed. Got down from my flat, reached the parking lot of apartment. And behold....both tyres of my bike were deflated...nearest auto stand 3-4kms away, nearest puncture repair shop 2 kms away, no transport available. I was already late. And then I came back to my flat, cancelling everything. Decided to spend whole day at home.
Switched on my lappie....open my blogs...then go on visiting Random blogs...and I came across yours. That was a few day ago. And I see, the pic. "Both tyres would be deflated". I had a hearty laugh! You made my sordid day, light! Haha....
