TO "B" in BMS.....!!!!how exactly it is;)))

All around u there are people harping about the drab courses available in the “study market”…and you pull a face n say..”gimme a break ya!! I want to b different!!”
And things like…”god!! This is so damn drab…its old..its stale…”so after lot of research and reading and inquiring you say…”howsss bms???”

U’ll realize soon enuf!! That is all I CAN say…;)
Three months into bms…and one can almost get a hang of what u will be “encountering “
In the coming three YEARS!

Enter d class and it’ll resemble a “sabzi mandi”, subject co-ordinators prancing about in a frenzy…giving u Xeroxes…collecting ur assignments[ which are definitely a GROUP EFFORT;)] ..giving out dates for submission…and how can I 4 get..??collecting the so called “CHANDA” for the bulky Xeroxes they provide!!

Aur haan…assignment se yaad aaya…first day you enter ur bms class..the teacher greets you with a sheet of paper..”READ , ANALySE, SUBMIT!….in the department before 2 pm” while you still continue weakly staring at her n the sheet…again and again…

You ACTUALLY have to maintain a diary…what else can u do???when u have 100 assignments to submit???! [ and not to forget again…YOU GET ABSOLUTELY NO REMINDERS…, like in school..the angelic teacher used to scream on top of her voice “children, PLEASE submit it tomorrow…without fail…] gosh ya…u begin to miss skool,really..i mean in skool we had a SINGLE textbk..which we used to cram at the last minute…and now…..we have a dozen “reference” books…for one subject!!and dat HorriD law book…(which is better used as a pillow..)
Basically ur mantra is “CUT COPY PASTE….”but pasting all dat in ur head is a pain too…L

Projects drive u crazy….5 marks…10 marks…20..30…ppts,ohp’s..and and and…if u DON’T know computers….tut tut..better pack ur bags n leave…hopefully u”ll manage to get admission somewhere else…because COMPUTERS Become ur “bestest” pals…all teachers bombard you with notes through email…and mind u..its not a very pleasant sight…getting notes relaxing in ur inbox… waiting 4 u to download them.. instead of funny fwds in ur inbox…!

And the most imp….one and a half hours lectures…(which slowly increase to 2..and then 3…and 3 and a half..wen exams approach)..this drastic leap makes u miss skool the most!! KAHAN 30 MIN KE LECTURE KE LIYE ROTE THE……

And the subjects…7 in a sem…14 in a year…wah! Wah!.. they are all new subjects..infact sooooo new that the first one month u have no clue as to wat is being taught to u…

FINANCE N COST ACCOUNTING: repeat telecast of 11th and 12th accounts….



“GROUPS” IS sumthing that is most imp….but the problem is that u cant form it always at ur own willL
its random sampling u c…so if u r at loggerheads wid any one in the class…u’ll have to learn to evaporate ur ego,anger,temper,pride..and start “loving” the person.. for a few days….after all he/she is bound to work wid u…aaj nahi toh kal;)

but on the +ve side…groups r fun too..the class which was a complete sea of strangers now bcums more n more interactive..

and LCD”s and projectors are fun too..coz the lites r switched off so whether u dig into ur tiffin or snore away to glory…ur chances of being caught r almost NILJ!!

And by the time u actually assemble ur notes…TING!! Exams r on their way….and writing a bms exam is a subject in itself “I DUNNO A THING SO I MANUFACTURE” notes by- divsi d gr8;)

The bottomline is…bms is for ppl who cant sit idle for even a minute…it may be hectic…irritating…brain chewing…but its certainly not boring!!!
Basically you get more n more innovative..and start thinking bout things u haven’t thought bout…in short ur RUSTING brains are oiled..!u start analyzing more and just cant by-heart stuff and vomit it on the paper…its just not possible!

So to “B” in BMS…makes u a Busy B..no doubt… but if u want to do sumthing different it’s a course to “B” in…I”ll bet on dat!!!
