#70

Her voice dissolved in her plight
Ruffling feathers with all her might.
Treacherously trapped and caught
In a few bucks her freedom was bought.

******

She walked by in disgust
Birds in iron homes reeking of rust.
A sudden suffocation as if she was there.
The thought alone was enough to scare.

Collecting her meagre savings,
all she had got.
Opened the Iron gates and freed the lot.
In a few bucks their freedom was bought.
