wanting it badly..
a deep desire..
a long wait..
a mad yearning..
and after years...when you've lost everything to get THAT one thing..
you sit back and realize, sacrifices made whiz by your mind..
you don't want it anymore..

Yes, very true you are.
After loosing everything else to get that, we realize that it means nothing compared to what we already lost.
Ehh, I know that feeling.. :/
With the passage of time we realize that what we've been dreaming for, wanting, yearning for, is no more important in our lives.
Reminds me of the chase being better than the destination!
