the birthday "kid"

birthdays have always been a fun affair for me...:) i dunno y...people say itz jus another day..oh relle?;) i have always maintained a countdown..[m not ashamed to declare] to my bday every year:)

[although i hav stopped exclaiming the "days to go" publicly;)]

i wondered this tym how a birthday makes evryone a kid in its own way..

whether its the attention...or the continuous beeeps on yr cell..or the dishes mumma makes..or "suprise" elements...

its certainly not the size of cakes...nor the number of flower bunches...

i guess its the feeling of sheer bliss when u re stirring awake lisening to ya mum singin"happie bday to u"

or the feeling of awe wen yr buddies dash across a bouquet at 12 midnite..

or the joy of walking in a dark room, switching on lites to hear ure relatives sing out loud---"hum bhi agar bacche hote...."

or the gigggles that u break into seeing yr dad wear a "bday party cap" n clap the loudest while u cut the cake...

or the burning curiosity of a bouquet sent anonymously:)

or seeing cracklers on yr cake while u sit n sigh--"excuse me i m 20 years OLD!!"

its that day where the kid in everybody comes alive...;) no matter the no of candles on the cake...!
